Unlike traditional publishing houses—where restrictive policies often limit authors’ control over their own creations—we believe in putting authors first. Too often, publishing decisions are driven by profit margins rather than the need to update and preserve vital information, leaving essential works unrevised and valuable knowledge at risk of fading from the public domain.

At Amazonas, we take a different approach. We celebrate our authors and the creative journey behind their work, providing encouragement, support, and a sustainable platform that maximizes both visibility and profitability. Are we a traditional publisher? Absolutely not—and that’s by design. We exist to champion our authors and ensure their contributions to gemmology are recognized, accessible, and enduring.
